Return, Shipping & Cancellation Policy

1. General Overview

Purani Dilli Se specialises in premium, consumable food products including dry fruits, nuts, spices, and gourmet selections. Due to the nature, safety, hygiene, and quality standards applicable to such products, we follow a strict non-return and limited-exception policy, in line with industry norms and international trade practices.

By placing an order on our website, the customer agrees to the terms stated below.


2. Return & Replacement Policy

2.1 Non-Returnable Category

All products sold by Purani Dilli Se are non-returnable and non-refundable.

This policy exists to ensure:

  • Food safety and hygiene compliance

  • Quality integrity of consumable products

  • Protection against misuse and contamination


2.2 Exceptions (Replacement Only – No Refunds)

A replacement request may be reviewed and approved at our sole discretion only under the following circumstances:

  • Product received is physically damaged during transit

  • Product received is incorrect (wrong item shipped)

  • Package received is tampered, leaked, or incomplete


2.3 Mandatory Conditions for Claim Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, all of the following must be met:

  • Claim must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Clear, uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory, starting from the sealed package

  • Product must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • Original invoice must be available

⚠️ Claims without an unboxing video will not be processed.


2.4 Non-Acceptable Claims

The following are not valid grounds for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Taste, aroma, color, or texture preference

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Delay by courier or customs authorities

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by customer

  • Improper storage after delivery

Approved claims will receive a replacement only. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.


3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement

  • Once the order is processed, packed, or dispatched, cancellation is not permitted

  • Bulk orders, festive editions, limited releases, or customised packaging orders cannot be cancelled


3.2 Seller-Initiated Cancellation

Purani Dilli Se reserves the right to cancel an order due to:

  • Stock unavailability

  • Pricing or technical errors

  • Regulatory or export restrictions

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.


4. Shipping Policy

4.1 Domestic Shipping (India)

  • PAN-India delivery available

  • Order processing time: 1–3 business days

  • Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days, depending on location


4.2 International Shipping

We currently ship to:

  • Europe

  • United Arab Emirates

  • Australia

International Dispatch: 3–5 business days
Estimated Delivery: 7–15 business days (subject to customs clearance)


4.3 Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

  • Import duties, VAT, customs charges, or local taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities

  • Orders refused or returned due to customs or regulatory reasons are not eligible for refund


5. Transfer of Risk & Delivery Responsibility

Ownership and risk transfer to the customer once the order is handed over to the logistics partner.
Purani Dilli Se is not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused after dispatch, except where mandated by applicable law.


6. Force Majeure

Purani Dilli Se shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government actions or restrictions

  • Customs delays

  • Courier or logistics disruptions


7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These policies shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in India, without prejudice to international consumer protection norms applicable to cross-border transactions.
